Beautiful local option. Service was good, food was delicious and served hot. Lunch special was tasted chicken served over wild rice, came with a nice piece of butter and roasted bread. Also soup or salad to start. I had the salad and my lunch had the soap. Soup was cream of asparagus. Have a new visit. There is breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stop the good work.

Absolutely the best bacon cheese omelet I've ever eaten. It has an old Austin vibe. Leave people good food, even blues on the radio. Hold the groove.

Had a terrible lunch, ordered the special Salisbury steak, corn, sour dough bread and a salad x2 and two waters to drink. We got salad and Salisbury steak with fries and no bread. While it took almost 30 minutes to get our food my wife?s was raw and bleeding in the plate. They took hers back and said they would not charge us, however they did not offer to cook another steak or if she wanted something else. Other tables of people seemed to be waiting for food a long time. Another table got bread at the end of the meal, the waitress told them that the cook never told her the bread was ready. seemed a little smokey inside like the cook had burned something up in the kitchen. I don?t believe that the cook has enough help in the kitchen. I tried to reach out to the owner via social media but had no luck. Paid 14.99 for one meal, I will say the steak I had was tasty and the fries were crispy like I like them, but you should be told of substitutions and if there is no more bread to be served with the daily special. The owner must have been busy this day catering Valero as I saw posted on the restaurant wall. Been here about 6 times and it seems hit or miss. I guess this visit was a miss.
