Absolutely LOVE Happy Falafel! We drive from Oswego, it’s that good! Hummus is always fresh, creamy and delicious! Chicken shawarma with the crispy bits is so savory and spiced perfectly. Crunchy falafel that’s always hot and crispy outside and soft and fluffy inside. Always fresh, pillowy pita. The lentil soup is wonderful as is the chicken kabob and well just everything! I love getting food from here with my family, but recently the shwarmas have been poorly made. The meat is cut up in way too big of chunks and there is never any sauce or pickles added like they normally would. I’m going to keep buying food from here but I would love if the new employees could improve the way they make the food so it can be as delicious as it once used to be! View all feedback.
I went to Happy falafel for some lunch and was overall pleased. I ordered the 2 combo protein rice bowl w/chicken kabob kofta kabob. I’m not a fan personally of kabob meat grilled on a flat top but it still had good flavor. What I found wayyyy more satisfying was the chicken shawerma, every bite was beautifully marinated, juicy pieces of chicken packing up the plate! I'll definitely be coming back again sometime-when I'm in the area! The owner was so nice to be able to make fresh rice for the take out order before he was about to close the shop, and he was very generous about the food proportions. The food was really delicious (especially the combo rice meal). Thank you so much Jafar!
Always delicious! I never get sick of the falafel pita and the chicken shawarma pita. Always friendly and fast service!
