We came across Angaraa restaurant, lo... read more My senior colleague and I decided to find a nice Indian restaurant close to Hotel Ginger in Indore, where we were staying. We came across Angaraa restaurant, located on the roof of a tall building which was accessible by an elevator. Upon our arrival, we found the atmosphere to be a bit dark but the lack of a crowd was a plus for us. The weather was pleasant, with a cool breeze at that height. The service was quick and efficient as we sat under a covered area with a beautifully laid table. We started our meal with a clear vegetable soup, followed by a dal and mixed vegetable dish in a thick gravy. We also had boondi raita to accompany the meal, which we enjoyed with tandoori roti. The total bill was reasonable considering the location of the restaurant.
