I love it when you go to a place and it jumps with energy from people who have a good time. You even have Ghost Tequila, the bartender was happy to make my margarita with it. The staff is warm, welcoming and everyone with their own flare for fun. If you want to take your time and enjoy appetizers first, then wait for your main order. Except that I clean my dish, enjoy! What User doesn't like about Pueblo Viejo Grill:
I liked the atmosphere, the bar area is nice to have a beer and appetizers, they do have a happy hour menu from 3-5pm. The food was OK not bad not super good, it was just OK. The service was good. The food its not authentic mexican food, but more like mex-american. We will be back to try other dishes and see how we feel about it. A+ on the rice it was cooked on point and fluffy. My husband and I absolutely found this restaurant to be so special in so many ways.. first off.. you must be willing to wait!! Have patience please.. it worth it.. I promise!! The food is some of the best Mexican food I've had in a very long time..the atmosphere is fun.. it's loud but it should be don't you think?? It's not fine dining but it's clean and and the atmosphere makes for an interesting experience!!!
Cute little spot, wait staff were pleasant. Only reason it's 4 instead of 5.... Chips and salsa refills are an extra charge, and we had to mention that we saw it on the menu, they didn't tell us when prompting if we wanted more. OTHERWISE. Holy **** it's some very incredible sass, and rhetorical fajitas were some of the best I've ever had. We were very impressed with all of our meals, and will definitely be back!!
Awesome Stop if in Indio Ample parking lot at side of restaurant Super friendly staff- very accommodating to our large group and baby Homemade chips and salsa (gratis) were solid Loved their Chimichanga. Good portion size (not too big or small) Jaimica drink as you'd want it Would be back!
The food is amazing and the service is incredible. This is a family owned, traditional Mexican restaurant with that ambiance you would expect and desire for lunch or dinner. They have great bar with tons of tequila selections and a couple of draft pulls. Top choice.
Best margaritas on this side of town ! Fajitas are always my favorite but this time I tried the carnitas plate and Omgawd!!! You have to try them. They are delicious. The spicy salsa is kicking! So just an excuse to have another margarita. Ask for Norma she's the best server there. 10 years and counting, still my favorite place.
