Island Boba Tea - Indio

Typically, all drinks made with Thai tea at this restaurant come with soy milk, but almond milk is also an option upon request. My personal favorite is the matcha latte with boba, which is vegan-friendly.

I was very disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we were hit with a strong chemical smell. There were no available seats, and the menu was hard to read due to its bright colors and messy handwriting. I was really hungry, but left feeling unsatisfied.

This charming restaurant is truly a gem! The vegetarian sushi rolls they serve are incredibly tasty. One roll features soy crab and classic vegetables, while the other is a vegetarian California roll imitation. The Vietnamese (vegetarian) sandwich on the menu can be made vegan by omitting the mayo. The staff was very helpful and friendly when I inquired about their vegan options. Their smoothies and boba tea can also be made vegan with almond milk. I highly recommend this place!

I was disappointed to find out that we had to pay extra for less ice in our drinks. I don't think it's fair to charge extra for customization. The cashier mentioned that it's common practice at boba places in the area, but we've never had this experience at other boba places. I don't plan on coming back.

Boba is fantastic! My favorite flavor is strawberry. The service was excellent, and the cashier lady was very kind.
