What Charlie Francis doesn't like about Indian Kitchen:
Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Walked out and was immediately told how children aren’t allowed inside the restaurant. In a very unfriendly manner, they said we could sit outside and they begrudgingly put some tables together for us. After waiting a decent amount of time a server Came with a bad attitude, and I have never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant before. After this, we realized it wasn’t worth sta... View all feedback.
REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. Rude manager/owner. Not coming back
There’s an a Chinese proverb that goes something like, ‘A man without a smiling face must not open a shop’. It’s part of the experience, and you will definitely feel it.The food as a whole is very good considering it’s hard to get Indian food in the desert. The prices are a bit steep and you would feel better about it if they threw the rice in for free as a side. On the bright side, they do have an excellent wine and beer selection so there’s a reason to dine in.
When restaurants lament how much their business is struggling, sometimes it's not a mystery.I placed a mint chicken order for delivery; the order arrived with no rice. Only a sauce dish. I called to check if the rice was missing, and the person who answered told me rudely that each order is a la carte. This should really be noted clearly on their menu. My one item order totaled $49, and it wasn't even complete.Terrible experience, overpriced food, unfriendly staff... Good luck staying open the next 3 years.
Towards the end of the year, 2023, my flight crew and I stopped in for some dinner after a horrible hotel check in experience at the Embassy Suites across the street that is another story. As we approached the door, we were kind of taken by the signage on the No Children... , but didn 't think much of it until after the dining experience. We were promptly met by the owner, Neel, who sat us down. He was so pleasant. He suggested some lamb, chicken, and vegetarian dishes based on our likes. We shared our dishes amongst us. Stunning flavors we had too! We had leftovers for the next day. Absolutely, one of the best Northern Indian restaurants I have ever been to in a long time. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and quiet enough to have an enjoyable experience. Now I understand why there wasn 't any distractions No children and no children 's parents parenting their children. So... refreshing! Thank you Neel for the experience. I am looking forward to my next visit you.
The best Indian food in palm spring . I loved it being an East Indian you think that no one can make good food but this is so awesome . I had the leftover and it was better too . I highly recommend to go and enjoy .
