**Dining at Union Jack: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Union Jack is a beloved Indianapolis establishment, steeped in racing memorabilia and community history. Patrons rave about its exceptional Chicago-style pizza and delicious pub fare, with many touting the outstanding service from dedicated staff. Guests have enjoyed hosting events, often praising the affordability and quality. However, some reviews highlighted service inconsistencies, such as inadequate assistance for guests with mobility challenges, and delays in food preparation. Despite occasional drawbacks, this vibrant venue remains popular for both casual visits and post-event celebrations, making it a noteworthy stop in the local dining scene.

**Dining Experience:** Lunch **Cost per person:** $30–50 I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for lunch, and it was quite an enjoyable experience. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, perfectly suited for a midday meal. The ambiance was inviting, making it a great spot to unwind. The service was attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive. The price range of $30–50 per person felt reasonable considering the quality of the meals. Overall, it was a lovely lunch outing that I'd recommend to others!
UPDATE July 2022: The menu has changed, and they've removed specialty pizzas like Meat Lovers, Deluxe, Vegetarian, and my favorite, the Dirty D. I get that price increases happen, but Union Jack's is famous for its pizza. People are unlikely to spend $24 on pasta at a pizza place. Customers want to order their favorite pizzas directly from the menu instead of having to compile their own ingredients. I also have some thoughts on the recent changes to the Mug Club, but I’ll share those another time.
Was able to visit this location the last night it was open. Great place. Definitely a part of Indianapolis food and beverage history Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
Visited for dinner. I had an old gift card that has been in my wallet for a long time. They said it had expired, but the manager honored it anyway. The server was really busy and super apologetic which was fine because my buddy and I weren't in a hurry. I ordered Potato Skins as an appetizer. They were delicious. For an entree, I had the Cubano Sandwich. It was a very unique Cubano, but it tasted very good. My friend said the fish tacos were great. Server really treated us like family despite how busy she was. Past visits here have almost always been fantastic. All the racing art and cool racing items on display plus the chance that you might run into a driver occasionally make this place a Speedway tradition.
