The charcuterie board, which used to be a fa... read more It's been a couple of years since my last visit to Spoke and Steel, and unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. The charcuterie board, which used to be a favorite of mine, was served with large chunks of meat and cheese instead of being sliced or shaved, along with hard, cold bread and only a few vegetables. My husband's meal lacked flavor, and we were bothered by gnats flying around our table. The only positive aspect was that our drinks were quite enjoyable. I’m not sure I would dine here again anytime soon, but I could see myself stopping by for a drink at the bar.

As a native Louisvillian, I can say their old fashioned is to die for. Nathan was super personable and very knowledgeable about their cocktails. He definitely elevated the experience and ensured that every guest was happy and takencare of. When I go home I will definitely be recommending this place highly. The cocktails are balanced, creative, andthoroughly delicious. A complete hidden gem!
