Vegetarian options: The prices were higher than I anticipated. I felt they were excessive for vegetarian dishes.
We shared the lamb platter for two, and it was an excellent selection of delicious dishes. The portion size was just right for two hungry people.
So very good! Chose the Beef Major combo for four and the Chicken Major Combo for two. Every dish was wonderful. We were able to order mild on all of it as we had a 3 year old with us (who liked almost all of the choices) and then the hot sauce on the side. Cabbage and carrot Sambussa were amazing. The coffee ceremony is so much fun. Loved all of it!
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The young woman at the front barely spoke English and didn't understand the menu at all. I ended up paying $37 for a dish that I definitely didn't order. I showed her a picture and pointed to the menu, but she insisted that I try something else instead of listening to my request. I won't be returning.
My favorite Ethiopian place in Indianapolis. Incredibly welcoming host, delicious food.
