Two days before our reservation, I received an email about the NEW HANGAR BAR that has now joined The Handlebar. They were opening just in time for our tour and offered us a VIP package! I immediately RSVPed, and they arranged for us to arrive an hour before our tour started. We got there a bit early, but they seated us right away! The bar had a great selection of draft beers and delicious cocktails. We decided to order five brick oven pizzas—maybe a bit ambitious! We tried the Sweet Baby Cheesus (a cheesy delight with a perfect crust), a classic Sausage pizza (simple but made with excellent quality sausage), and The Danger Zone (my favorite), which had sausage, pepperoni, goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and a drizzle of slightly spicy honey. It was absolutely perfect! I was initially hesitant about the honey, so I asked for it on the side, but I quickly changed my mind and drizzled it over the entire pizza. Then there was the Handlebarbq pizza—WOW! As soon as it arrived, everyone dove in to grab the pickles off to enjoy! This one came topped with BBQ sauce, grilled chicken, red onions, and, of course, pickle chips—a definite crowd favorite! The timing was impeccable; we finished our pizzas, settled our tabs, and hopped onto our bike! Our driver was amazing! He interacted well with everyone in our group and even playfully called my husband out for not being on top of his bartending skills! He danced with us at the red lights and genuinely seemed to be having a great time. He was accommodating with our stops and kept us on schedule. As we returned to finish our tour, I felt a little sad that it was ending! Today, I received so many compliments from our group. Most said this was their favorite experience in Indianapolis ever! There were huge smiles, loud laughter, and plenty of hugs exchanged. It truly was a perfect night! Thank you to the Handlebar Hangar Bar—we will definitely be back soon!

UPDATE: I was quickly contacted by the company’s owner, who apologized for the incident and acknowledged that the behavior was indeed unsafe and unprofessional. He assured me that the matter would be taken seriously and that all drivers would receive instructions on how to operate safely around carriage horses. I truly appreciate the prompt response and resolution!

I want to give a special shout-out to Handlebar for their involvement in the Handlebar Hot Lap yesterday! A big thank you for providing the vehicles and drivers, who were all great sports! Although it's been a while since my last visit, I've booked with Handlebar before, and it’s always a fun experience. The drivers are consistently exceptional! I highly recommend them!

We took a mini tour of the city and made a couple of stops, including one at the circle. We opted for the first-class package, which included three drinks, our own table at the Hangar, and a food discount. The only downside was the drink options available; they were great if you enjoy beer, but I decided to try the hard seltzers, and they were not to my taste. Fortunately, I had brought my own drink to enjoy. The food at the Hangar was quite good. I had a chicken quesadilla, but they also offered wings, pizza, and nachos. Additionally, there’s a golf simulator where you can relax, eat, and sip your drinks. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. All in all, we had a wonderful time!

Oh my gosh! We just had Emily as our guide, and she was incredible. At one point, we encountered a guy getting arrested, and the whole group started playing "Bad Boys." It was so hilarious!
