I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and was pleasantly surprised. I originally planned to dine elsewhere but ended up here since it was nearby. Although the swordfish was a bit dry and not to my liking, the rest of the food was delicious. The service at this restaurant was extremely slow. Despite our reservation for 6:15, we arrived at 6pm and had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. It wasn't until 7pm that we were finally seated, and then we had to wait even longer for service. View all feedback.
Food was excellent but the service and ambiance was below expectations Friday evening and restaurant was about 25 percent full, creating a lack of energy in the dining room compared to our expectations Service had several missteps. We sat 15 minutes before a drink order was taken due to a miscommunication on which server would be taking the table. Drinks came out and one drink for another table was brought to us. Water was spilled on the table. Manager asked if something had to be recooked as one person had their plate cleared before others were finished it was a good question plates shouldnât have been cleared until all were finished. Verbally described the desert menu but forgot to mention the one we wanted, glad we looked at the menu online before arriving to ask for it. Little things that didnât ruin the evening but not items you would expect to happen at this price point.
Élodie Merlotâs is a very good place. The children place is attractive. The food is very delicious, the waiters and waitresses do their job well, the receptionists are superb. I was very satisfied to discover this restaurant with my date.
It is our go to special night dining location. Only location that serves tableside bananas foster.
Wonderful place for a quiet, outstanding dinner. We visit on our anniversary every year and have never been disappointed. Ambiance is great, food (both quality and selection) is the best around. Service, service, service those that work at Eddie's know what excellent service is and provide it to every customer. Highly recommend and it will continue to be our go to place
Bison filet and ribeye are great! High protein and low calorie. Everything else is average for a steak house. Super buttered and salted. Meal was good. Simon our server seemed mentally somewhere else. He first blamed it on being busy, but as his tables cleared and didnât get re-sat, he remained neglectful of our needs (basic) like water for our table and a drink for our 4 year old that didnât come until half way through our meal. We actually only come here for the bananas foster and he didnât quite prepare that right either.
