The staff at this restaurant is outstanding. The food is consistently served hot and fresh, whether you are dining in or taking out. The floors are kept clean, and the bathrooms are well maintained with plenty of soap and paper towels. The trash bins are always emptied and not overflowing. What K Moore Simpson doesn't like about Denny's:
Nothing to write home to mom about. Kitchen screwed up order, then waitress forgot silverware, never got a refill on coffee. Management was out smoking in his automobile while tables were dirty. A lot of standing around behind the scenes. This is why people don't tip and are upset about automatically being charged a tip in other establishements. Started as dine in. After waiting almost 30mins for food was told that the wrong order was placed and we could either take what they cooked or wait for correct order. Long story short we left. Made it home with the now 2 go plates and the food tasted terrible. The cheese on my Denver omelet was sooooo disgusting and it was sooo much of it. Definitely won't be bk. Raised prices for poor quality of food.
We waited ten minutes at the front of the restaurant while every server looked at us and kept on with their business. Finally one of them walks over and tells us that the wait is 20 minutes due to being short staffed. Understandable as that happens but at least someone could greet us a d let us know that before we waited around ten minutes a d everyone saw us standing there.
Ms. Marie was our server. She treated us like family which complimented the food and made it so delicious. I 've never been into a Denny 's where the food was top notch. She was an angel sent from her patron saint St. Christopher . May God keep this institution of high quality food.
If you haven't been there in a while, you should definitely go back! There's a new chef and staff who are doing an amazing job. I enjoyed a delicious steak and eggs dinner.
I would give it 5 stars! The restaurant was clean, the customer service was excellent, and the food was fantastic.
