Stopped here on a roadtrip across the country to have dinner with some long distance friends. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. We sat outside and enjoyed the lively city while hanging out. Only downside is service was really slow when it wasn't terribly busy.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Tamara Ridpath doesn't like about Broad Ripple Brewpub:
I really enjoy this restaurant, but on the night we visited, our server seemed quite unhappy. Despite promptly seating us, he disappeared for a while before returning to take our order. We were the only table inside, so I'm not sure if he was busier outside, but the slow service was a bit disappointing. It's unclear why he was in a bad mood, but it did affect our overall dining experience. View all feedback.
We enjoyed a family lunch date on the covered patio and loved the atmosphere. We ordered Scotch Eggs for an appetizer, and they were good dipped in the sauce. For our meals, we had Shepherd's Pie, a BLT, and a kids pizza. The kids' meals are all $5.95 and include a drink and side. Hubby tried a few beers and thought they were all pleasant flavors.Kid-friendliness: Great menu for the kids at a price that won't break the bank.Parking: There are parking spaces up and down the streets and various spaces across the road from the pub. I'm sure it may be tricky to find a spot on a busier day/time.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is all one level. Outdoor patio has wide table spacing. Indoors, including getting to the restrooms, has multiple doorways and turns that may be tight.Dietary restrictions: Tons of vegan options available.

Man, the food just wasn’t good. I ordered the meatloaf and it was covered in ketchup but the menu made no note of that. It was ok. The mashed potatoes with it looked off and tasted bland. The nachos with chicken weren’t great. Chips were kind of stale and the chicken tasted a but dry. The burgers and sandwiches a table over looked better, but you can get that at half a dozen other places in the neighborhood. Service was fine, no complaints there on a busy Saturday.
Entire vegan menu is AWESOME! we eat here all the time, and we've never had anything we didn't love! My boyfriend loves the Violets vegan burger, and if you're an Indiana tenderloin lover, try the vegan tenderloin! ????????Vegetarian options: Such a good vegan menu!!!
The vibes in this place were immaculate. Lots of vegan options for sandwiches with seitan and vegan pizza too. I'm not lying when I say that the nachos I had- that I had made vegan- were the best nachos I've ever had. This isn't even mentioning the fresh brews they make in house that were absolutely delicious, some of the best beer I've ever had. Completely stunned at how awesome this place was! I'm coming back for sure!
