Delish!. I highly recommend a sampler if you've never been here before. Actually, we just asked the waitress to bring us what was good and spicy (as we're not picky and will eat ANYTHING , and she brought a veggie sampler, a meat sampler, and an additional goat entree. Yes, you scoop up the foods with your hands and spongy injera bread, and yes, the meat isn't deboned, but that's exactly why it's authentic and fun! Our waitress was fabulous and very accomodating, the food was excellent (ask for spicy! , and the prices were very reasonable. We'll be back!

My wife and I have been here multiple times. Our first visit was on a night when we were craving something new, and we hit the jackpot. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, with the flavors of the dishes always on point from one visit to the next. The staff is friendly and provides outstanding hospitality. If you appreciate a strong cup of coffee, you won’t be disappointed — it pairs perfectly with dinner. The food here is fantastic, so definitely give it a try!

I usually go to Major because it's more convenient for me when I'm coming from Lafayette. A few months ago, I tried Abyssinia since Major was closed, and I found both restaurants to be excellent! They offer great food, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere, all at reasonable prices. I will definitely be returning to both places.

We absolutely love this restaurant! We've sampled several Ethiopian eateries, and this one stands out as the best. The food is consistently flavorful and beautifully prepared. It's the ideal spot for a warm and cozy meal!

One member of our group ordered coffee, giving us the opportunity to taste Ethiopian coffee. The staff brought out the roasted beans for us to smell, which was a lovely touch. Our coffee was served on a delightful platter that even included a stand for incense. We also ordered the Taste of Abyssinia 2, a large sharing platter, along with a bowl of vegetarian soup. We nearly finished everything, leaving just a small amount of bread behind. The total bill was around $50. It was an amazing experience, and I definitely intend to come back with more friends.
