While the no-server model might seem appealing to the owners, it creates a frustrating experience for customers. Millennials and Gen Z may adapt quickly, but older generations often struggle. Our parents took almost 15 minutes just to figure out how to access the menu. As a result of the lack of servers and printed menus, we had to place our orders individually, leading to a one-hour gap between the first and last meals being served. The food itself is mediocre at best. If you want a drink, you must order it through the QR code, and sometimes those requests are overlooked. If you're looking for a beer not listed on the QR menu, you have to go to the bar yourself to order it. Additionally, when you place an order for food or drinks, a default tip of 25% is automatically added for the servers, even though their role is primarily to deliver the food from the kitchen. It’s hard to justify why they warrant a higher tip when they don’t provide traditional service. Getting the drinks you order, unless they’re beer from the bar and included with your food, is also a challenge. This was our first and last visit. I plan to tell others to steer clear of this place. The QR menu system without servers sends a clear message that the establishment cares more about profits than about the experience of its customers and employees. Plus, the food is overpriced, which you might have already guessed by now. I usually refrain from writing negative reviews, but this experience was simply disappointing.
Absolutely not. As someone who grew up in the South and has enjoyed plenty of great BBQ, I can confidently say this is the worst I've ever had. It was overly fatty, completely lacked flavor, and was served cold. Do yourself a favor and spend your money at a real BBQ joint—good BBQ doesn't need sauce to taste great. Even with sauce, it couldn't mask the blandness of the pork. Just steer clear of this place for BBQ.
Food is okay. $14 for a brisket sandwich seemed a bit steep for not a lot of meat. They also hit me with $2 service fee and a $5 gratuity/service fee. I’ve never seen that on a takeout order before.
If you want an upsettingly small amount of food for the overpriced cost and somehow tasteless BBQ with a wateryeqsue flavor you should definitely eat here. Can't speak to the service or atmosphere but assumedly the staff are underpaid, understaffed and doing their best.
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff is welcoming. I was excited to try the burnt ends, but unfortunately, they were out of them. The pulled pork and chicken wings were rather dry and overcooked, while the macaroni and cheese lacked flavor (I wasn't a fan of the chips on top). However, the baked beans and pickles were enjoyable. The fries had quite a bit of salt.
