Yes, the hotel is older, although quite well renovated, the carpet in the dining area left a little to wish left. The pool and hot tub are super, clean and well maintained. Pool service, food and drinks are pretty good. The view is beautiful. Most of the staff and girls are very attractive and personal. We had a very nice time.
Went for the first time Saturday night. The hotel takes you right back in time to Lucy and Desi. Photos of great entertainers line the walls and the hotel entry has a gorgeous spiral staircase. My eyes just didn't know where to look. It was absolutely amazing. We ate in the restaurant. The food was excellent but the greatest part of the evening was the live entertainment. Singer Christine Love just took our breath away. She was incredible! What a magical place this is. If you come to the desert make sure this is on your list of places to go. You will walk away with a giant smile on your face. I promise!
The beds are comfortable, the pool is great, the smell of fresh grass on the golf course. The resort is not old; it is a vintage feeling of classic Hollywood photos. It would have assigned a 5* rating if not for the overpriced food and beverage and bathroom problems, but the service, room and the entire presentation were quite excellent. I recommend it.
My only real complaint, which is why I can't give them a perfect 5 stars, is the continental breakfast labeled as “deluxe.” Based on other reviews, this has been an issue for years, so it doesn’t seem like they’re interested in making changes. The breakfast included bread, hard-boiled eggs, oat flakes, yogurt, and the usual grab-and-go fruits (apples, oranges, bananas). It would have been nice to see some fresh berries or nuts for the oat flakes, and perhaps some scrambled eggs with sausage or bacon. It wasn't awful, but I’ve had better breakfasts at Comfort Inn, so my expectations were a bit higher here. Maybe if they stopped calling it a deluxe breakfast, guests wouldn't have such high expectations.
My daughter, her little ones, and I spent a few relaxing days by the pool. The food in Indian Wells was excellent. The hotel features live entertainment, I believe six nights a week, and we thoroughly enjoyed the music and atmosphere, which echoed the glamorous 1940s with its crooners. My 7-year-old granddaughter was absolutely delighted, and even the 4-year-old and the 18-month-old were attentive. While the hotel is older, it has been well renovated; however, the carpet in the dining area could use some improvement. The pool and hot tub were fantastic—clean and well-maintained. The pool service, food, and drinks were quite good, and the views were beautiful. Most of the staff were friendly and attractive, adding to our overall experience. We had a wonderful time.
