Moonbowls - Indian Orch

Had trouble deciding if it was a dining hall or just a ghost kitchen at first, but the lockers without a real storefront is a giveaway. By that point I 'd already paid for it though (AND paid too much for it, at that) so I just said oh well .The food was edible but not great. It was all lukewarm, even though I picked it up on time. Had chunks of hard rice like no one had fluffed it or kept it warm and nothing was very flavorful. Sesame tofu was dry. Overall just disappointing. I 've had vastly better food from restaurants that have gone out of business.

It was good I'm on the hunt for ramen this satisfied my appetite. It has a bathroom in back.

Moonbowls Fairview KitchenI don't even know where to start.1. THE CHICKEN TASTED AWFUL, with pieces of fat connected to it. It left an unpleasant aftertaste, alerting me that Moonbowls may no longer use chicken breast. More like Chicken thighs or odd chicken parts, but not good. It was not a healthy option.2. The Moonbowls are usually portioned well, filled with lots of veggies, but on this day, my moonbowls looked depressing, consisting of a tablspoon or two each of veggies and meat.3. They forgot to add the seperate containers of creamy sesame dressing with the 2 bowls I orderded.4. I addressed the creamy sesame issue, and they put 1 container 1 CONTAINER filled halfway with dressing...to share...between...two...bowls.?5. They also put some weird dressing on the chicken which was not what I ordered.6. There have been a lot of changes to this establishment, and now I understand why their ratings are not up to par.7. This used to be a great establishment with the amazing Bamboo Rice and Marinated Chicken, but I guess they're cutting options and corners.8. The pic below is exactly how I received my moonbowls.

I like the whole concept of ordering through the system and picking up the to go order. But it was a little confusing and a hassle since the food wasn't going to be ready 20 minutes after.. which is a bit long for a salad. But the salad was delicious so worth the wait.

I love the concept, but the quality isn 't up to par with the price. I ordered the Korean hot chicken bowl. The chicken is awful definitely frozen and absolutely no flavor and terrible texture. My bowl looked nothing like the picture.I think the bowl has potential. Invest in good ingredients especially if you 're playing on the healthy concept. The pineapple was canned and so were the peppers. The food came out quickly. And the sweet Korean bbq sauce and hot sauce combo was tasty.
