Bb's Beach boasts a lovely beachfront location, but parking is challenging and now handled by valet in a very limited space. Our dining experiences have been inconsistent—some dishes were cooked well, while others were underdone and bland. The quality of drinks also fluctuated, with some being enjoyable and others disappointing. Staff rarely checked in after our food was served, making it difficult to raise these concerns, which was true during our most recent visit. Considering the prices, these issues are unacceptable.
With limited beachfront dining choices, I had high hopes for BB’s Beach Bar. Parking is scarce and feels a bit intrusive to guests. The restroom is located inside the resort, a short walk away, but it was clean. Service was slow despite only two other tables and a few people at the bar, and the staff came across as unfriendly. On the upside, our orders were accurate. Happy hour prices were reasonable, and we enjoyed wine, beer, and champagne. The view is absolutely stunning—even on a cloudy day, it’s breathtaking. The sound of the waves and ocean breeze, paired with a comfortable, sheltered setting, make for a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food let this place down. The oysters were fresh but poorly shucked, with shell fragments in each one, served with lots of saltines and sauces. The chicken was dry and overly thin, tasting bland. The tacos were overloaded with bottled sauce, and the shrimp was hardly “blackened.” The burger was very dry and came with chips instead of fries. The feta mousse dip tasted like it had been opened days earlier and was served with bland vegetables; the warm, soft pita was the only decent dish at our table. If you want a fantastic view and don’t mind paying for disappointing food, this might be your spot. Otherwise, come for a beer and the scenery, then go elsewhere for a meal. This is not the place for even a mediocre dining experience. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
I recently found BB's Beach through a friend in Satellite, and it's an amazing place for both locals and visitors. Rebecca delivered excellent service, and the rest of the staff were great too. My only issue was with the valet parking attendant, who was unnecessarily rude—fortunate that the restaurant outsources that service. Since I live nearby in Melbourne Beach, I’ll definitely be coming back regularly. Prices are between $10 and $20 per person. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. I highly recommend the Hot Dog and Chicken Tacos.
