Territory - Independence
Territory
Description
Territory is a handsome riverside bistro in the Independence Hotel, pairing farm-to-table cuisine with handcrafted wood tables, fireplaces and multiple dining options from a glass atrium to a covered patio and rooftop. Menu standouts include burgers, brussels sprouts and reliably excellent salmon, plus inventive dishes like wild boar ragu; some entrees (notably steak) and a few appetizers can be uneven. Service and pacing are inconsistent and prices are mid–high, but the views, cocktails and creative fare keep guests returning.

Atmosphere is nice and makes you think the food is good and better than average however it is not. We got the Mac and cheese, shrimp and grits, and 2 flatbreads. We had so much leftover food because it was so bad we didn’t want to finish it. Would not go back again.
Only been here twice, first time was spectacular and the second time the food was just ok. I am looking forward to giving it another go as their service is top notch and the atmosphere is lovely.
My friend’s burger was over cooked but their gin drink was good. Nice cross breeze when sitting inside and I had to order their Cajun Tillamook Mac n Cheese. It had andouille sausage, bacon, four cheeses and was baked in the oven.
We loved our experience and the food was amazing! Our waiter was super nice and knowledgeable. We got the French Dip, Cobb Salad, and sweet chicken wings! Everything was so delicious! The French dip was done to perfection! The Salmon on the Cobb Saladwas great! And their Diablitos Margaritas were so good! We had them tone down the spice and opted for the mango and pineappleflavors. You won’t be disappointed!
