Description

This local breakfast spot has gained a lot of attention with mixed reviews recently. The vegan options are limited, but the service and coffee have received praise. On the other hand, some customers have expressed disappointment in the quality of simple dishes like salad and omelettes. Menu surprises like a separate charge for toast have left some feeling deceived. However, those who have tried the specials like the salmon Benedict and the compassion burrito have been delighted with the unique flavors and generous portions. Scratch offers a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service, making it a solid choice for those looking to break away from chain restaurants and try something different.

Food was very good. Burrito was big and full of pulled pork and the French toast was soft. I will be back for sure.

Great breakfast vibes. Delicious biscuits with sausage in the middle and gravy. The potatoes were more like a fried smashed crispy potato. Wonderful! Friendly service.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING! Prior to our visit no biscuits and gravy could compare to a small hole in the wall in Vail...it all changed with this one visit. The food/atmosphere/service was second to none. We now have a favorite for biscuits and gravy...don't miss out!

This place should have nothing under 5 stars. I came here yesterday for the first time but have been wanting to come here for the past year. It's very quaint/small. But has a real homey vibe to it. I can't remember my server's name for the life of me but she was phenomenal. Hands down some of the best service I have ever had. She explained the menu to us and some key points about some of the selections. Everything sounds so good. They have a sweet side to the menu as well as a savory side to the menu. We acted for savory that day. I had got the compassion burrito, My friend got the biscuits and gravy. My burrito made my eyes roll into the back of my head and experience A food gasm. Yes it really was that good. And the size of this burrito has to be the size of at least 2 burritos from Chipotle. It was $16 and 1 dollar is donated to a child charity. I will be back to try the entire menu. Great prices, great food and great staff!!!
