This KFC location is extremely disappointing. The staff frequently shuts down earlier than the posted closing time just to leave sooner. If the restaurant says it’s open until 9:00 PM, customers should be able to order until then. That’s not the only problem—they often run out of the items you want. I was actually told, “Sorry, we’re all out of chicken.” At a chicken restaurant, they only had sides available! If it were possible, I would give a negative rating. They seriously need to close this place and hire employees who are truly dedicated to their jobs. This isn’t a one-time issue; it happens all the time.
I requested a refund from KFC because I never received my food, but they said they couldn’t process it and advised me to call a number instead. I spoke to the manager, Xavier, about the issue, but the store was connected to a fax machine, and no one answered the 800 number either. I also tried using their website to get my money back. The next morning, I finally reached someone who assured me the refund would be processed. However, two days have passed, and I still haven’t received it. This is the worst KFC location in Independence, and it’s not the first time I’ve had problems here—so this will definitely be my last visit. I’ll be driving the extra distance to the KFC on Noland Rd near my old place. While their menu wasn’t perfect, at least they made an effort to resolve any issues!
Everything at KFC was excellent! The staff were friendly and inviting. Despite seeing numerous negative reviews, I've never had any issues here. I always look forward to exploring their menu and my next visit!
