It?s been o... read more I don?t live anywhere near this place?Still, the Englewood Cafe has become the SPOT one of my best friends and I go to have breakfast every weekend! It?s been our regular stop either Saturday or Sunday morning for several months now. It has never leteither one of us down. It?s a diner with a diner atmosphere?100%! I mean that as high praise! All of the staff do a great job!They really seem to be enjoying themselves while working and they?re very friendly. From the first moment I stepped thru thedoor, I?ve always felt welcome. The food is outstanding! Portions are plentiful! They sport an extensive pie list that I?mslowly but surely working my way thru I have yet to be disappointed. They definitely do it RIGHT at the Englewood Cafe!

Some staff even remember her af... read more I been coming here since i was a child. My grandmother; Joyce Ellenberger worked as a cook there for YEARSSS when i was a child. Some staff even remember her after all these years shes been gone. Great food- i always eat either an open face roast beefsandwich OR a french toast breakfast. Those two plates are so good its hard to wanna try anything else. The apple pie is aperfect ending/take home treat.

Sweet tea was nice and strong, as it should be! Checked out the nay sayers below, and per their other reviews,they mostly appear to be unhappy with most everyone. So, I would take those reviews with a grain of salt.
