Nothing about the food said BBQ and the prices were high. The place looked deserted and we were the only ones there. Felt like the beginning of a horror movie and it looked like the 80's threw up in the place! Wont be going back! The place creeped me out!

They don't come to you. 1 waitress to take orders, deliver them... read more Food is pricey for a virtually unknown place. If you go in for takeout you have to.ask for help. They don't come to you. 1 waitress to take orders, deliver them and to check you out. Only 1 cook to make everything for everyone. So wait is long. No sign on restaurant with name. Waitress called it Bbq barn.

I have now learned that the original owner has sold out to the sandwich shop... read more We first tried this when they opened. It was good, especially the trucker special. I have now learned that the original owner has sold out to the sandwich shop next door to it, they had horrible food. Stale bread and old sides. Now that they own kc bany back ribs we returned to find that trucker special is pretty much the same, but the meat by the pound has an excessive amount of vinegar in the rub or the meat sat too long. Not sure which. They have lost us as a customer. The reason for 2 stars is that the trucker special was good. Beans werent bad, but we used to get twice as much, a full pint. We ordered double and got 2 half pints.
