What Nash Rath doesn't like about Back Yard Burgers:
That would usually be a 5? easy, but you have changed too much. I hate the way preshrinked salad wilt on my sandwich, you used sheet of salad. My mushroom burger basically had raw mushrooms, you saw them. The last time I got a black and blue burger, was it lacking onions and bacon? Recently, I ordered a Hawaiian chicken sandwich, but instead, I received a turkey burger. My son's buffalo chicken sandwich had hair in it! Another time, I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger with a side, and it was so dry that I nearly choked. On yet another occasion, there was pink hair on my Hawaiian chicken sandwich, and I ended up throwing it in the trash. My recommendation is to visit during lunchtime, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., for a better chance of a positive experience. And definitely check your order carefully if you’re dining in or using the drive-thru to make sure it's prepared correctly.

The waffle fries are delicious, but I recommend trying them with cheese and bacon bits, along with a tangy dipping sauce, since they're quite thick. The spiced fries can be overly salty if you're trying to limit your sodium intake. Even my picky daughter loves the burgers here!
The service was good and the food tasted great. However, I was disappointed to find that the burgers are significantly smaller than they were about three years ago when I last visited Backyard Burger. The burger was roughly the size of a McDonald's sandwich, and I had expected them to serve larger burgers. I even drove all the way from Raytown specifically craving a big burger to make the trip worthwhile.
Never had a bad burger at back yard in independence. service is always fast and friendly. burgers are juicy and fall delicious. do not try to eat it during the drive.
The first time I've tried them out was door dash...and it was amazing! So my son and I decided to go there and see how much better it tasted....and it was definitely better! A must go if you want really good fast food!
