What User doesn't like about Lupita's Mexican:
I have ordered from this restaurant before and they accidentally added milk to my order. This time, I visited in person. I was told that they were vegetarian-friendly but could also make dishes vegan upon request. However, it didn't seem like they were very accommodating to vegans. View all feedback.

Black beans are suitable for vegans, but rice contains chicken stock and refried beans are made with lard.
I tried almost every vegetarian option on this menu. The best are the El Presidente Tacos and the Burrito Banado with mole sauce.
Homemade chips. Homemade Guac. A whole section on the menu for vegetarians. Sure, it's not House of Mexica in Reno, but this is from FAR the most veggie-friendly Mexican place up here in the Tahoe Mountains, and they make real food from genuine ingredients. Nom nom nom nom. Pro Tip: Order to go and enjoy it on the beautiful deck on the wine bar directly opposite. Updated by previous review on 2020-06-08
