A wonderful spot to enjoy a delicious meal! AFRIPIN TO THE WORLD—I absolutely love their Uziza!
Parking is available, although the space facing the front of the restaurant is reserved for the owner. Guests can choose to dine in the covered outdoor area, inside the main dining room, or at bar-style tables that have a wine section. The menu features a variety of Nigerian dishes, with prices ranging from P350 to P1,000 depending on what you order. For those who enjoy spicy food, Jollof Rice with chicken is a popular choice. However, it's worth noting that the fried chicken served with the Jollof Rice can be quite tough. Restroom facilities and a wash area are conveniently located nearby. Additionally, if you overhear Nigerians chatting, their voices may sound intense, but they are simply having normal conversations.
This was my first experience with African cuisine, and I really enjoyed it! I tried egusi with garri and appreciated the portion size for the price, especially considering that the ingredients can be quite pricey. The garri had a unique texture – slightly grainy and a bit sour. The egusi soup had an intriguing consistency; at first, I thought it was made with fish eggs. It had a smoky, fishy flavor with a nice kick of spice, along with some pieces of goat meat. I’d give this dish an 8 out of 10. Service was for dine-in.
