We sat outside which was lovely but a bit hot (we were there during the heatwave) and the views are spectacular. The highlight was the dessert menu delicious!

Waiter was sick, coughing with phlemgh and kept the mask under his nose. Half of the time he served us he was not wearing the mask at all!! He was nice but we felt incredibly uncomfortable. Beware of 4 euro coperto charge. Contorni were added when not asked for. When bill arrived we noticed we were charged for them.

It was our last night in the Florence area and the restaurant helped make the most of it. We decided to order the steak along with a couple of sides to share. (Note that the minimum steak order is 1 kg, and don't even THINK about asking for well-done or for ketchup or steak sauce! LOL) Everything was delicious. The house wine was pretty decent. Service was pretty good, though we weren't in any kind of a hurry. As it happened, there was a tour group in the restaurant that was getting a cooking demonstration. The chef even gave us some of their zucchini risotto even though we were not part of the tour group! It is a bit of a steep climb up to and down from the restaurant. The view of the Tuscan hills at sunset was spectacular. If we get back to the Florence area, we would definitely return.

Apparently they had forg... read more We had to wait over half an hour for our order and when it finally came it was the main course for my husband and the antipasti for me. Apparently they had forgotten two dishes we ordered and when we reminded them it took another 20 minutes to bring me the first course and actually throw the plate on our table. The side dish for my husband never came. We asked for grated cheese, it came only to be taken away while I was still using it. And while I was still eating the waiter tried to take my plate away. Especially the headwaiter was the rudest we have ever met, wearing his mask under his chin and yelling while serving. The food was average and the only good thing about this restaurant was the view but you don't need to eat there to see it.
