I had no idea what to order or try. I just had the desire to visit a Korean restaurant, my wife did not share my enthusiasm. I ordered the Bibimbap in a hot pot and a soup the waiter suggested. Both were good. The soup was very spicy and my face turned red. my wife laughed but I loved it. The Bibimbap was really interesting and very good especially the rice stuck to the hot pot and crusty. Banff has a lot of tourist and most are walk in clients, apparently one cannot eat here without a reservation and the way one of their staff acted was rude...Too bad. View all feedback.
This place is seriously underestimated. Pretty! this place is seriously underestimated. they deserve 5 stars? eat soouo well here! I did not expect to find such a large restaurant in banff, a tourist town, but here we are! we ordered kalbi, meet them so tender and well marinated! and seafood tofu soup, its best I had. the staff are very friendly and helpful. helped us to grill the meat. he even remembered that I stayed before her loading. yes, we came back, ran and saw this restaurant, checked her menu, inside, and bycoz googled map it, read the reviews. was hesitant after the reviews. many said bad service. decided to walk more and maybe we find another place, but we came back and young is happy! best korean food in banff. and no bad service. the staff are so nice and friendly. all smile and cheerful.
Went back to the seoul country restaurant for late 2.30 am lunch on 26.9.2022 another excellent lunch .we ordered aaa alberta bark sirloin cad35 excellent sirloin steak banchan (side courts) bibimbap very well too..as good as kimchi house in jasper..both better than mii in canmore. had really enjoyable dinner in the seoul country restaurant on 25.9.2022 the cad30 galbi was very good, came with rice banchan. kimchi chigae also good .better than kimchi house in jasper not aburiya standard
I've tried to get involved with some reviews. but I am sooo glad that I came in and it is definitiw one of the best authentic Korean meals I have ever had! Eat and service are great! please do not give them, they will regret!
One of rare Korean gastropub in downtown Banff. Food tastes typical Korean but servings are generous. Price-wise is as expected for a resort town. All in all, experience was awesome.
The best Korean food I’ve had! The bbq here is a must try- the beef bulgogi was so tender, flavourful, and juicy. The kimchi stew was also very yummy. The portions are excellent and the bbq comes with side dishes. The servers were so kind and hard working! When we arrived, the restaurant was very busy but the staff worked quickly to accommodate us. Would highly recommend to all!
