I gave Meijo five stars in the past, but I will have to take a star away. On several occasions in recent months, I had the misfortune to be denied because they were soon closed. Remember that soon as much as 45 minutes before closing. If you consider how fast your service is, I would have ordered, served and completed on time to be there before closing. Very disappointing. What User doesn't like about Meijo Sushi:
I have tried this restaurant three times in order to come up with my reasoning for the rating. The staff is 50/50 with the great and the bad. The price is good overall here. This is one of those restaurants where the price correlates with the quality of the food by far. Parking is not the best here since the spaces are tight for even small cars. A simple neighborhood place with uncomplicated Japanese style dishes. The prices are very reasonable. My brother and I had lunch with a beverage for about $10 each (including tax). It is popular, but seldom so crowded you have to wait for a table. It is one of the local restaurants at the top of my list when I want to go out to eat.

Hit or Miss. If you want your order done up right, sit down in the restaurant and eat there. DO NOT order takeout. I've done that 5 times in the last 5 years and the orders were wrong, weak, and sometimes not the amount you would get if you were right there in the restaurant. I previously gave them 1 star from a few years ago, but this year I've had good experiences the 3 times I went in and actually ate at a table near the sushi chefs! That roll at the bottom is the Protein Roll. Don't know if it's on the menu, I just asked for it on recommendation and it was AWESOME. No rice LOW CARB!
