Holties - Imperial
Holties
Description
Holtie's presents a mixed dining experience, showcasing potential alongside notable flaws. While many rave about the excellent hot wings and vibrant atmosphere, issues persist with inconsistent service and order accuracy. Diners report delayed food and overlooked items, with staff responses often falling short of expectations. However, some patrons appreciate the inviting renovations and the friendly service. Although there are commendable dishes like chicken fried steak and a cozy bar vibe, several visitors express nostalgia for a peak period of quality. This local hotspot, while charming, could benefit from refining its food preparation and service practices to truly shine.

I've been coming here for YEARS, I loved their chicken strips meal, but lately (since the pandemic) it has been lackluster. The chicken strips used to be HUGE and only $9, now they're pathetic and tiny and $12. I went here recently for breakfast, it was decent and a good price, which is surprising for a burger bar. Overall it's still a good place to eat, but it's not the opulence it once was. Staff are still awesome as ever though. Nice little hole in the wall bar. Good food, good atmosphere, and good local people. It's a nice little bar if you're just looking for some breakfast, lunch, or dinner Tuesday-Sunday. I would recommend there Buffalo wings (bone in). Prices are between $10-$20. Feel free to check it out for yourself. I ordered a steak sandwich but it was cooked well when I asked for mid well. The fries was way too salty. It was so noisy that I had to yell at my buddy just to hear me. I know it's a bar but it shouldn't be that loud. Server was nice. I also ordered the trashed wings which was the best part of the meal. $15 for 12 and they was small for what I paid for. I get bigger wings from pizza hut. I do have to say the place did look good for a bar though. Just wish they had better cooks and bigger wings if u are going to charge that much for them. Overall I was not impressed. I remember going there awhile back and it was way better but this little place has lost it's charm. I hope they change these things. Because I hate to complain about a small business. I'd really rather support our locals. Just can't on this experience. I'm sorry. Maybe I will try back in a couple years.
