The lunch menu wa... read more Before I came, I heard reviews about the good food and how the restaurant got a price, so I was surprised to see the restaurant empty at noon. The lunch menu was very simple (only 1 page and I ordered 3 types of open sandwiches (baked halibut, smoked halibut and smoked aal). While waiting for my food, I saw a number of visitors in the restaurant to make reservations for dinner, but the waitress informed her that the restaurant was booked completely for dinner, and she recommended to make either a reservation for the next night, or put her names in the waiting list on a late evening slot. Soon my open sandwiches arrived and I was very pleased with the presentation and taste of the food. Outside the back door of the restaurant there is a promenade that leads to a beautiful view platform, with magnificent views of the port of Ilullisat. (I was the only person on the boardwalk when I visited.

Very attentive service, charming ambience and incredible view... read more As part of the Arctic Hotel we thought it was a drink break here during our hike around Ilulissat. Very attentive service, charming ambience and incredible views of the icebergs on the sea, due to the excellent location of the hotel over the city. Just a 10-minute walk from the centre of the city over the bridge. It's worth it!

I think the fish tha... read more I just had the WORST meal here. Abrupt service from the waiter. I ordered the catch of the day that was halibut. It was a bunch of mosques. I think the fish that is served had muddy meat diseases. My waiter never came back. I ate some of the meals and then went to the bar and told the waiter the problem with the meal. He said this is the way Halibut is. Give me the bill. No excuse, no questions. That's not the way Halibut is. I never go back to the restaurant or to the hotel. Bad service, bad quality.
