A must-visit for tourists! Breakthrough serves the best of Iloilo cuisine. The dishes are freshly prepared, offering a fantastic selection of classic Ilonggo favorites like KBL (kadios, baboy, langka – pigeon peas, pork, and jackfruit) and linagpang (farmer’s stew), along with Filipino classics such as adobo and sinigang. What Anonym dislikes about Breakthrough:
Overrated. If you are looking for great food, it would be better to go to Ponchon by Breakthrough located near SM City Iloilo. The one by the beach side is overrated. The view is bad as the beach side is filled with garbage that are washed ashore from the nearby port. The restaurant itself is pooly maintained as you can see dust amd cobwebs everywhere. The accommodations were great, and it was a nice, relaxing place. The food was delicious and absolutely satisfying! I really loved it!
We were all very pleased with the food, especially the managat fish. We celebrated our beloved mother's 71st birthday.
