What User doesn't like about Ang Kamalig:
Absolute nightmare. Almost every single thing we ordered had pork even their vegetable soups! And it doesn't even say it has pork in the menu entry. Avoid at all costs if you value your health. View all feedback.
BBQ Pork was at least 60% fat and burnt black in many parts, both very unhealthy. The chef should take better care of the health of their customers! The sizzling kansi was tasty, the beef soft but quite dry. Buko shake very good, mango shake not very fruity, too much ice too little mango despite the main season.
This was one of the worst resto experiences ever. Fried chicken was still **** inside they had to re-fry it. One meal set dish was not available (they said they'll just replace with another dish). Server was terrible, she forgot to give our change after we paid so we had to call attention to another server to get that. When we asked for remaining food to be packed, waiter didn't even offer to pack the food for us. We had to do it ourselves. Will not eat or recommend that resto ever again. There are lots of excellent restos in Iloilo City that give good service. That experience was just terrible.

You won't regret visiting Ang Kamalig Restaurant!
This restaurant is a cozy spot, perfect for dining with family. They offer Filipino dishes that truly delight every Filipino heart. My favorite dish was the Pancit Molo, which paired wonderfully with our other orders: Huhn Inasal, spring rolls, and sizzling crab meat. They also have a variety of hearty meals that are sure to please everyone.
This is a fantastic spot for lovers of Filipino cuisine. I highly recommend it to tourists as well, especially for their delightful Ilonggo dishes, such as Pancit Molo. Don't miss the sizzling crab meat—it's my favorite! The staff is very friendly. Just a heads up, some menu items might be unavailable if you dine late, like within one to two hours before closing.
