I enjoyed a fantastic pub lunch today at this restaurant. I had the homemade lasagna made with local beef and homemade chips, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff, including a friendly and helpful boy at the bar, made me feel very welcome. View all feedback.

The food was decent and decently priced. The landlord was pleasant. But it wasn't comfortable for a solo stranger. The issue was that the older lady (in corner wearing a pink top) was constantly puffing away at her e-cigerette. The landlord turned a blind eye to this. NO LONGER SERVES FOOD went for lunch but found they have stopped serving food. seems a nice pub. had drinks and crisps of various flavours
Very friendly pub...good service.. excellent range of Wadsworth beers well priced...cider as well as the usual suspects. Pleasant outside seating area
Good food at a reasonable price,friendly staff,not much atmosphere. No music so great for having a conversation.
Stopped there for a pint. Very noisy and swearing locals were having (a lot of) drinks, which was part of the folklore I guess. Service: 4
