Red Lion Main Street - Ilkley

My friend and I noticed that the dame on the next table had a jacket kartoffel with garnel, which was not on the menu. we asked our waitress if this is available and was checked with the cook we said on this occasion that it could have the same. Luckily we managed to get the last two and it was delicious. the chef informed us later that he thought about putting jackenkartoffeln back on the menu, and I hope he does.

We went in for a relaxed lunch, and even though the service left something to be desired, we found it amusing, almost like a comedy sketch, with responses like "I don't know." Despite the service hiccups, we will definitely return because the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

When we booked a table for 7 PM, we found that several items on the menu were unavailable when we arrived. During our second visit, we were not informed that there would be a special menu due to quiz night. Instead, we opted for pizza.

I had to cancel my visit. Many items on the menu were unavailable, and the overall atmosphere was lacking and disappointing.

Limited menu on a Sunday evening, as we expected, but the roasts we had were delicious!
