Thai on 59 - Ile des Chenes

Best Calimari - nice and spicy. Delicious! Don't be fooled by the location and decor. It looks plain and is located in a strip mall beside the Co-op, the inside decor is plain, but the food is very authentic.

You will not be disappointed with any of your choices. Good atmosphere but casual enough to be fun. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and ready to accommodate.

Finally made it over to IDC to try out Thai on 59. Small, very clean restaurant - very friendly staff. Food was so good that we are looking forward to coming back. The 2 soups we tried were beyond good. The Pho Satay was spicy and delicious. The won- ton soup had such flavour depth, and a really good amount of won-tons. We tried the crispy creme crab puffs which were also very good, but wished they had just a little bit more filing. We ordered to take home as well since other family members were not with us. The Pad Thai with chicken was very good. I really recommend this restaurant. This place is a Big WIN for a small town.

Had to stop in IDC to get my quad and decided to order after seeing their sign from the hwy many times, the only thing wrong is I wish I had ate here sooner. Staff are pleasant and I had a nice chat with one of the owners, you cant go wrong eating here.

Not fancy - just amazing food! The flavours, portions and service were all fabulous. Can't wait to go back and try something else...
