Super restaurant. Accueil extraordinaire. Une carte alléchante. J'ai pris le wrap de saumon fumé. Je n'en avais jamais mangé d'aussi bon. Merci pour le voyage gustatif. Je reviendrai sans problème View all feedback.
What Aliyah Mosciski doesn't like about Les Paillottes:
On Ile d'Aix, there are not so many options for lunch. We were happy to find this restaurant, and enjoyed the Coquilles Saint Jacques with risotto, and the sabayon. Nice food in a nice environment. Prices were relatively high though probably due to the...lack of choice on the island. And we also would have preferred larger portions. View all feedback.
See them, the service was friendly, especially benjamin, and eating excellent we want more. the calamari was cooked for perfection, served with polnta. the menu you jour great value. a must.
The food was excellent and well dimensioned portions. the environment and the ambiente were also great. special congratulations for anyone who chose the background music, icing on the cake for a great meal.
The restaurant looks so good from the outside, but the service is terrible. Eating was just okay. with a series of sites, from very close to choose, I would recommend trying an alternative.
Food was delicious, fresh seafood and juicy steak served with tasty veg and home made fries. Desserts were equally delicious. Last minute call for reservation was possible for a group of 6 for a summer lunch. Service was friendly and professional, and we even had...a quicker service for the starving kids ! Highly recommended
I agree with the poster who said no wonder foreigners criticise the French welcome if this restaurant is anything to go by. The waitress was beyond rude, totally ignored our request to have certain courses at the same time. She kept insisting on asking which...menu/formula we wanted despite us repeating we wanted a large carte. She did not smile once. Chips were delicious, steak was considered good, mussels were only lukewarm seemed to have been reheated and had teensy crabs still in them. Desserts were OK. Coffees were mistakenly brought to the table next to us and another equally rude waitress almost insisted they drink and pay for them even though they hadn't ordered them.
