Excellent service and very good cuisine. However I find the portions extremely generous which affect the prices. I would have liked a reduction of portions and reduced prices as a result View all feedback.
I was staying at the Frobisher Inn, so I ate breakfast here one day and had dinner another evening the breakfast was good and reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend it if you don 't want to trek into town to the Blackheart Cafe. Dinner was less successful service was good, the wine list (can you believe that there are now places in Iqaluit with decent wine options? was also good as was a starter salad, but the main course was disappointing a macaroni cheese that was too thin and watery and under flavored. Maybe not eating meat put me on the back foot here, but I expected better. I was also disappointed that although the online menu shows a veggie burger, that was not on the menu at the restaurant that 's a simple thing to be keeping track of, and even in Iqaluit I 'm surprised there weren 't better veggie options. Value is decent given the setting in the north and I would guess that local meat and fish dishes are probably pretty good. Not a fan of the staff tolerating people coming into the restaurant to try and sell crafts but maybe that 's just me.
Food was delicious.. update still top drawer and reasonable price.
Terribly expensive for a bland dish, dry fish, undercooked, inattentive service… In short, I don't recommend it at all!!
It was ok, my lasagne was reheated which I get. The server was really friendly. It was a hot meal up north so everything is understandable.
I had the pleasure of working with the frob manager George and his lovely staff (who were all excellent) They were attentive, kind, welcoming and right on top of anything our group needed. We were a group of 9 and rented out the conference room, ate at the frob amd the caribou and it was excellent. Thank you to a wonderful staff.
