We ordered something and the waitress understood something else. She insisted us to drink it saying that is what we ordered. Could be a miscommunication but could also be handled in a calmer way. Sat down, started reading the menu and a guy rushed in saying that this is not ours (he was from the neighbouring place. Very weird. Never felt quite right afterwards. Waitress was nice. Not accepting card payments is a red flag though.
We ordered a curd strudel, Patscherkofel, an Innsbruck cake and an Esterhazy tart with espresso and cappuccino. Both the food and the drink were delicious. We found the Patscherkofel particularly fantastic. The atmosphere was a bit cramped, but still very nice and with the help of the friendly service, we quickly found space for three more people.
