The steak sandwich was served on delicious sourdough bread, and the meat was generous and tender. The chips were absolutely mouthwatering. The garden was under renovation, so we dined in the conservatory, which was acceptable.

We drove out to Ivy Hatch and had... read more I just had a wonderful lunch here! After a rather indulgent night, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a pub lunch. We drove out to Ivy Hatch and had an amazing experience! The pub is cozy and beautifully decorated, with a spacious outdoor area perfect for sunny days. We were greeted warmly by a friendly bartender. The food was excellent—served hot and bursting with flavor. I had the pork while my husband enjoyed a massive 20-ounce steak! To his delight, it was featured on a special board with various single steaks available until they run out. He loved the steak, though the only feedback he had was a desire for a sauce choice. We also shared a fantastic whitebait starter! When we went to settle the bill, we chatted with the bartender, who is Portuguese, and we received outstanding service. We will definitely be returning soon, and we plan to bring the family along!
