It was cold outside. I was hungry and thirsty. I had done a battlefield walk, in snow flurries. I’d walked 7.5 miles by now. The beer was excellent. Limited food choices but the lasagne I had was perfect, exactly what was needed. Incredibly tasty. Full of locals. Right next to the Menin Gate.
