Eric's Asian Cafe - Idaho Springs

Are you kidding me? This place gave me a laugh, I'll give it that much. It looks like a dilapidated hovel. The inside is noticeably dusty with boxes and junk lying around, chunks of food all over the floor. The owner behaved strangely, refusing to look directly at me or even come near me to take my credit card. I had to walk around the counter and hand it to him.My takeout was packaged in a paper bag that spilled sauce all over me and my car. The food had an odd smell and the chicken was rubbery. It's a shame but I had to throw most of it away. I regretted my purchase and decided it was best to rid myself of it so I wouldn't have to think about it anymore.

Witnessed multiple public health code violations upon entry, several more after cursory inspection (which irked the rather strange and suspicious man running the place). The restaurant was infested with vermin and filthy. Eat here at your own risk.

I'm gonna miss Eric's food. During my stay in Idaho Springs, it was my favorite food as it reminded me of one of my favorites dishes in Peru.

Great food and good price! I'll be coming here everytime I come to Idaho Springs.

My partner and I decided on Eric’s Asian Café for dinner. When asking about the ingredients in different dishes, the waiter/owner told us “to find a different restaurant.” I have traveled all over the world ordering plant based foods and I have never experienced something so deliberately disrespectful. Was it because we are gay or because we were asking questions about ingredients, we may never know. He was a nasty old man who lost our business and hopefully yours. Regardless, Beware!
