Starbucks - Idaho Falls

We placed a mobile order, and it was quickly prepared. The staff was polite. I had to take away a star because my iced espresso was quite diluted. Maybe it was just an off day!

The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean, and the drinks were great. The food was heated to perfection. Thank you!

To be clear, my drink was well prepared; it was everything else that fell short. The music was distracting, the staff were overly animated, laughing and joking loudly without regard for the customers. I found the chairs hard and uncomfortable, the air conditioning felt set to an Arctic chill, and the interior design lacked any soul. Perhaps this was all intentional, designed to maximize the turnover of customers, as any responsible business might aim for.

I spent a few hours working on my laptop at this bustling location on a Tuesday afternoon. With my lengthy stay, I noticed a lot about the place. I had envisioned a cozy, warm corner coffee shop where the noise levels were just right, the atmosphere was soothing, and time seemed to stand still. Instead, this location was the complete opposite—a chaotic scene that showcased everything that could go wrong at Starbucks. To be fair, my drink was prepared perfectly; the issues lay elsewhere. The upbeat music was distracting, the staff seemed overstaffed and spent their time joking and laughing loudly, the chairs were hard and uncomfortable, the air conditioning was set to Arctic temperatures, and the interior design felt soulless. Perhaps all this was a deliberate strategy to maximize customer turnover, as any savvy company might aim to do.

Starbucks sucks! Coffee was not great, pastries were limited and microwave heated and the employees looked like they were sick of life, or working there!
