We loved stopping here. They make everything from scratch- cashew cheese, hand cut French fries, juices... vegan heaven. Plus the owner is lovely- great place stop by and support them. View all feedback.
What Andrea Kristof doesn't like about Altavita:
Not for me. Food was mediocre. We had the falafel platter, shawarma, and taste of Nicaragua plates and they all generally seemed to lack flavor (herbs or spices). They do have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options and seem happy to customize any dish to meet dietary needs. Staff was friendly. View all feedback.
Loved the food. Very vegan friendly. Please specify you’re a Vegan when you’re ordering just in case they think you’re on a plant based diet and eat Mayo/dairy.
Has a dedicated vegetarian/vegan menu with many good options (vegan sandwiches/burger, veggie/vegan empanadas, falafel). Friendly staff. Worth stopping for a good meal.
The owner suggested us some good options based on our palate. The falafel platter was great. The taste of Nicaragua was very filling with some rice, beans, empanada and plantain fry. Best option during out travel betweeb Idaho and Yellowstone
Cute little place, stopped here while traveling and I got the vegan falafel wrap with a side of veggies and falafel. The wrap was good and the vegan tzatziki sauce was delicious! The veggies hummus were okay, but the hummus was a bit grainy and lacking in flavor. The split menu was a really nice touch, as I didn’t have to worry about accidentally being served animal products, and the meat-eaters I was with ordered off of the meat menu. Overall I would definitely come back and try something else!
Had a really great falafel pita sandwich with vegan tzatziki sauce. Friendly staff, and a pleasant restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2021-05-31
