Sand y Lake - Ica

After dinner I got such a bad food poisoning that I had to go to the hospital. I also had to take antibiotics for a week that destroys my trip! Total costs for doctors, hospitals and medicine:

We spent two nights at the resort. The service in the restaurant at our hotel was so bad that we were looking for other places to eat. Very randomly we chose this place without checking on TripAdvisor. Wouldn't we have eaten there? ... We found the staff very friendly, helpful and happy. We prefer to eat local cuisine abroad. While this place seems mainly to serve burgers, pizzas and pastas, they have about half a dozen local dishes. We can certainly recommend fried rice chicken and beef loin. Both were served well and were delicious. At the time of writing neither suffered intestinal problems. The restaurant looks at the lagoon, so you get a good chance to take the ambience of the resort and watch the people while you have your meal.

I cannot recommend this restaurant! I ordered a fish dish and immediately got food poisoning. the next day I had to spend in the hospital. besides the high hospital costs, the visit to the restaurant has also ruined my vacation. thanks for...this!

Our room was okay, but the bathroom is not the shower has not enough energy they can not wash their hair.

Nice new place just next to the lake. Service was so-so, the waiter was young and probably didn´t have much experience. But the food was nice (for the kind of place and price range . We ordered fish and fried Chinese rice. What was really great...was their Pisco Sour! Long and strong! We got there when it was 2for1 and with those 2 drinks we got happy for the rest of the night :
