a booking by opentable for mira after a visit a few months ago, to dinner on the 20th juni. it was considered to find the restaurant completely closed and later discovered that it does not open in a Mon night. why are opentable bookings for a restaurant when it is not open, and why do they let mea do this? I sent mira by e-mail the following day, as this was a feast for my birthday to say how disappointed I was, had... View all feedback.

We had an amazing lunch at Da Claudio. The Rigatoni Carbonara was made table side and was the best Carbonara we ever had. So was the pasta with oxtail. Super!!! Also the breaded meat was delicious. Claudio and his his wife are lovely people and provide excellent service. Aperol Spritz made with Champagne…Amazing selection of wines. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Ibiza.
I love carbonara and was so excited to finally find a place in Ibiza that’s supposedly famous of that . We wanted to have to focaccia with mortadella but was told they are not available anymore, so we ordered the variety Appitizers ; just to find out it’s half mortadella ! Anyway , the supposedly called carbonara came , a dry and tasteless pasta I have ever had . When I complained about the pasta , the Italian chef Claudio came to the table and with an angry voice, he told us that he’s from Rome and that’s how carbonara is cooked! I for sure disagreed and told him I wanted something else . The Italian waitress came and when I said please get me the sea bass fillet , she was like HA ? I repeated what I wanted but apparently she didn’t speak either English or Spanish , don’t know why she came to work in Spain ! Another male waiter , who is very nice came for a rescue and took the new order Sea bass was full if small bones and so difficult to eat Conclusion : This place is hardly recommended unless you eat what the chef tells you to !
