Bar Restaurant Ca'n Rei - Ibiza

Disappointing...owner rude , left us waiting in the doorway for 10 mins whilst he attended to clearing plates...rather than using his brains, seating us with a menu and letting us look whilst we waited.,, judging by the food we did see on tables we weren’t missing out on much so walked

I'm a neighbor of the village, I was having a coffee on the terrace with my dog and because she barked, the waiter came to call my attention, almost inviting me to leave, in these times I find it incredible that they still think that way. Total retrograde, I'm not going back.

Stumbled upon this place as we had taken a detour and got hungry and such a great find! We had the seafood fideua and it was fantastic all seafood cooked to perfection. If I was passing by again, I would definitely return!!

We arrived and the first thing was that nobody payed attention to us or came to us to offer a table. We went inside until where the bar was. The first waiter passed us by without even saying hi . Then, we told hi to a lady and she passed us by without saying anything and after 5min she came and told us: well, tell me! . We told her we wanted dinner and she told us: sit if you want but you are going to wait a lot for dinner . Obviously we went to another restaurant pizzart when we got an excellent attention. Is a shame that these impolite people get hired in a restaurant and treat clients so poorly. I have to say that this restaurant had only 2 tables to attend and they were already overwhelmed

If the lady running the floor is this cranky and unpleasant so early in the summer season I would not want to meet her in three months time when thousands of tourists have interrupted her day. This look like a classic case of the location being enough to bring in the numbers so what happens from there doesn't have to be very good. And it wasn't The food is basic and old style with no imagination applied at all. Very disappointing in a place with so much on offer.
