We went after the decision to spend a night in Ibiza city. we saw on ta and this place saw exactly what we had been looking for. it's fucked, but still not too hard to find. it's a nice environment on one. dachboden, but we were surprised that if we were there there were only 2 other people there. the waiter was very nice and we were served efficiently; how they would expect with a near empty restaurant! we started to share with nachos in cheese with different dips, which was nice enough, but probably impossible to get wrong. but to be fair, it came in good time and was exactly what we wanted. then it went downhill, I'm afaid. my wife ordered a dorsch and I ordered bark cheeks on a bed hummus. the waiter came out and told us that the cook would not serve the cod because he was not satisfied with it. good enough, but a little strange in a near empty restaurant. it wasn't a problem, but my wife chose the salmon with kartoffels. When the food arrived, it looked out and slept well enough, but the salmon was about 5 minutes over boiled, which after the attempt I had agreed with. it was completely dried. also the kartoffel became clumpy; surely it is essential to ‘flower free’ maic! now on my eating. I found it a very strange combination. hot bark cheeks in a hot engraving on a bed of stone cold hummus. it tasted pretty, but the whole dish was cold within a few minutes. it seemed just a very strange thing to put hot eating on cold eating. Normally we would have sent both dishes back, but we were hungry because we saved ourselves for the meal, so decided to eat anyway. we both made us feel very disappointed, as we had high expectations of what was no cheap food at all....some 80 € with a few drinks. maybe we just visited an off-night as this can happen and it has some excellent reviews, but personally I wouldn't disturb to go back.
Visited this brilliant little restaurant having stumbled across it whilst exploring the beautiful town. We arrived completely unanounced (a large group of 6 adults and 5 children) and the staff could not be more helpful in finding us a table with a lovely view. They...were very accommodating in sorting out something for the children to eat and cooked them a meal which wasn't on the menu. The food was beautiful and very reasonably priced. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff were attentive and the location and view was stunning. This made it the best meal of our holiday. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant and i will definitely return on my next trip.
