My family stayed a week at this beautiful family and enjoyed the experience. they were very open to involve us in their daily activities if we were interested. mario took us for a beautiful hike in the forest and told us about the plants we passed. my children helped to milk the cows, maize to reap, to fetch breadberries and there were 7 baby pigs born during our trip. the house is from adobe, like most houses in the neighbourhood. there are several Adobe ovens close to where you can see people make brick by adobe, which are then baked. isabel is a wonderful cook and has delicious meals from the ground up, with mainly homemade food. there are numerous cultures that are cultivated in this area that are not far available, so that eating was very good. all the meals were great and they were eager to deliver seconds when we were interested. as vegetarian she was open to us. the house had the strongest Wi-Fi internet we have met so far on our trip. not mentioned in the ad, they also offer filtered water and they washed our clothes (without extra charge) my son became sick after eating in the city, and they made medical tees for him. rolando speaks English and he met us in the city to bring us to the house that lies outside the city cotacatchi. there are many interesting places close to (trade tours, waterfall, hiking, a lake with boats, the otavalo market, a cultural museum in cotacatchi, etc.) a bus can take them within 15 minutes to foot to the house, or a taxi costs around $3 from cotacatchi. many people in the opposite speak the indigenous kichwa language, so it is a good place to learn some phrases. for travellers who do not want to taste new foods that want a television in their room and want to stay in the city, it is not the ideal location. I would highly recommend this house for people who are interested in a more authentic travel experience while I get to know the local culture.
Bakan! for all those who are looking for a quiet place in the middle of nature serrana loma wasi in the community of tunibamba just 10 minutes from cotacachi to the north of the city of quito in the equator. One will have the drop of walking along so beautiful paths and contemplating unbelievable views in any direction, to me what I got the most was to observe the taita volcano imbabura and eternal caretaker of those lands, not to mention also the sleeping at the feet of the cotacachi vocán. for those who want inner search days, or just get away from the noise and the citing chaos, don't think about it anymore and visit this beautiful place.
Acogedor B&B para conocer el día a día de una familia indígena. Excelente vista del Valle de Imbabura.

I came as client n felt that I went as a family member. I will highly recommend this stay n experience. I lived the Inca Village experience, not only with mercedes, isabel, cesar n ali, but also the larger community. damian, a young guide of the village, made me his group. we all glued eat curry pork that I cooked for 15. I was sad to go after 4 days. the village is also close to a beautiful small clean city called cotocachil with good cheap food, internet cafes, super markets etc. thank you. mercedes n daughter isabel n sees you again. rave raghavan
