Hosteria Cananvalle - Ibarra

Hummingbirds are as common as pidgeons in ny. they have upgraded my room because it is not busy during the week. wifi is great and allows me to work a normal 9-5 while watching the birds. $3 taxi to ibarra center, great place!

Beautiful, peaceful location. Hosts Carlos and Doreen are excellent providing great conversation and tips for the area. Worth the trip!

We went for my mother's birthday lunch. It never disappoints.

It was a great place to stay! I only have a few complaints: the heat of the water is inconsistent but it's not something that the hosteria can help. Also, the first night, I got in bed and came across a millipede (however you spell it), a few nights later there was a scorpion in the room, then another a couple nights later. Maybe if they could just do something to prevent bugs getting into the room, that would be great! Also, the breakfast was the same thing every day. Granola, yogurt, and fruit.
